Visit to Sericulture Development Center

Khopasi, Kavre

We, the students (Grade 10) of Jagat Mandir Secondary School were taken to the Sericulture Development Centre located at Khopasi, Kavre. The weather was very hot on that day. We walk around the area where mulberry trees were plant. We were shown the eggs of silkworm in which I got to know that yellow eggs are unfertilized eggs whereas the black eggs are fertilized eggs. Then we went to see the farm of mulberry trees. We saw various types of mulberry trees. Then, we click the group photos. After that , sir  gave us class about silkworm ,the different stages of it and how silk is produce .We learn a lot of new things and saw the machine from which silk are produced .
I would like to thank to our teachers for taking us to sericulture develpoment center. And for helping us to gain more knowledge about silkworm.
